Layaway Vacations

Greetings Bloggers!

Have you planned your summer vacation yet? Do you take a trip every year? Visiting relatives doesn’t count. I’m talking about a real vacation, maybe to the islands, out of the country, or even Vegas. Sound affordable? A trip to Disney can cost about $6000 for a family of four which sounds way expensive but not if you put it on layaway.
Think about where you’ve always wanted to go and book it. Most travel agents will require a deposit and the balance due 30 days before the trip. Who can’t travel under those terms? If you’re like me you plan your trips out a year or more in advance. Layaway vacations allow my family to travel 5 star all the way. It’s the only time that I spend money without questioning cost or consequences. For one week my family gets to live life in the “Fab Lane.” Here are some trip ideas to get your juices flowing:

Ochos Rios- Couples Resort- sure there are lots of different resorts in Ochos Rios (been 4 times) but none of them are like Couples. Their private beach is the largest, some excursions are already paid for (Dunn’s River Falls), and the people rock! You can stay for 6 nights for about $1900pp that translates into $200down and $170 a month for 10months! Most of you blow that kind of money on dining out alone. Anywhere in Jamaica is pretty cheap.

Mexico- Again, think luxury, exclusive. Try the Riviera. It’s about 30 minutes from Cancun and there are lots of palatial resorts that are out of this world!

If you have kids then of course Orlando is pretty much unavoidable. When traveling out of the country you should look into all inclusive resorts. They usually have 7 or 8 restaurants, and of course all the booze you can handle. All inclusive resorts are the most affordable and you definitely get more bang for your buck.
Start planning and if you need more suggestions or specifics let me know.

Your favorite gal pal,
KC
